Beneficial owners

This tab allows the consultation of the information entered in the Beneficial Owners Register (RBE) for the entity concerned by the consultation.

To access the list of beneficial owners, authentication by certificate is mandatory.

By clicking on the button Connection with my LuxTrust certificate, the user is redirected to the authentication page where they have to indicate their preferred method of authentication.

The user is invited to follow the instructions on the page to make the connection to the LBR website.

Once the connection has been authenticated, the user is redirected to the page displaying the beneficial owners tab.

In the tab Beneficial owners, the cursor I would like to consult the beneficial owners of my own company is selected automatically.

Important: Access to the list of beneficial owners is strictly limited to the registered entity or its authorized representative, having filed a declaration with the RBE of their beneficial owners.

In the PIN Code field, the user must enter the PIN Code that was sent to them by post in order to access their own RBE file (Pdf).

Once the PIN Code has been entered, the user is invited to click on the button View the beneficial owners of my company.

After verifying the PIN Code, the user is redirected to the page displaying the list of beneficial owners registered with the RBE.

In the case of a consultation without possession of a PIN Code, the user has to deactivate the cursor.

Important: The law of 23 January 2025, amending the modified law of 13 January 2019 establishing a Beneficial Owners Register, defines the list of entities and persons entitled to request access to the RBE as part of their legal obligations in the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing.

If the user belongs to one of the categories of professionals as indicated in the law of 23 January 2025, they can submit a:

• Request for professional access to the consultation of the RBE.
• One-time request for extract for an RBE extract (Pdf) for the file as a professional (available in French only)

Depending on their choice, the user is invited to fill in a request for access to the RBE to be submitted to the LBR for validation. The necessary documentation is available via the link Make a request for access as a professional.
